Kevin Van Valkenburg spent 11 years at ESPN as a senior writer, and 11 years prior to that at the Baltimore Sun. He now serves as NLU's Editorial Director and contributes to the NLU network of podcasts. He lives in Baltimore with his wife and three daughters.
